In Celebration of the 70th Anniversary of Kosin Presbyterian Mission (KPM)

 

Dear Esteemed Global Leaders,

It is our great honour and joy to welcome you to the Global Leaders Forum(GLF), a key programme prepared for the 70th Anniversary Celebration of Kosin Presbyterian Mission (KPM). This gathering is not only a time to share vision and fellowship but also a meaningful milestone commemorating seven decades of God’s faithfulness in using the Kosin Church to expand His mission throughout the world.

We are deeply grateful for each of you—your presence, partnership, and dedication are invaluable as we look back with thanksgiving and anticipate what God will continue to do through us. We earnestly pray that this Forum will be a time of spiritual renewal, mutual encouragement, and strategic collaboration for the Gospel and the future.

As preparations for the Forum progress, you will receive regular announcements and guidance regarding your participation in the upcoming events in Korea. We kindly encourage you to stay connected and attentive to further updates.

General Schedule

• 70th Anniversary Celebration of Kosin Presbyterian Mission (Main Event): Location: Gyeongju
  Dates: June 10 (Tuesday) – June 12 (Thursday), 2025
  With representatives from Kosin churches, missionaries, and over 1,500 participants. On June 11 (Wednesday), there will be a Gyeongju tour for Global leaders.
• Presbytery Mission Conferences: Locations: Regional areas corresponding to each presbytery
  Dates: June 13 (Friday) – June 15 (Sunday), 2025
  Held together with regional mission affinity groups (mission field regional divisions), matching presbyteries, and local churches.
• Global Leaders Forum(Key Event): Locations: Daejeon, Busan, Cheonan
  Dates: June 16 (Monday) – June 19 (Thursday), 2025
  With global leaders.

1. GLF Program Overview

Venues: KPM Center, Kosin University, Gospel Hospital, Sono Belle Cheonan
Participants: 40 local leaders from each Global division of KPM
Theme: Together for the Gospel and the Future
Purpose:
The forum aims to help participants understand the identity and direction of the Kosin denomination and KPM’s ministry. It provides direct exposure to key sites such as Kosin University and Gospel Hospital, and focuses on developing concrete, actionable mission plans based on the SMART Action framework. It also seeks to strengthen global cooperation networks among leaders from diverse regions.

Prayer Topics

1. Let us pray that the Holy Spirit will be present throughout every aspect of the forum, leading to genuine spiritual fellowship and renewed commitment. "Lord, may we experience the guidance of Your Spirit in every gathering."
   "While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said..." (Acts 13:2)
2. Let us pray that every leader in attendance will reaffirm their divine calling and receive a renewed vision as God’s servant. "May the calling and vision given to us be rekindled."
   "For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you..." (2 Timothy 1:6)
3. Let us pray that the theological and spiritual legacy of the Kosin movement will be faithfully inherited and expanded by future generations and the global church. "May the faith and spirit of Kosin flow throughout the world."

4. Let us pray for wisdom, humility, and love to overflow in every session, discussion, and time of fellowship. "May the participants respect one another and be united in heart."

5. Let us pray that Kosin University, Gospel Hospital, and all related institutions will be used mightily for regional and global mission. "May these centers of education and medical mission shine as beacons of the Gospel."

6. Let us pray that participants, institutions, staff, and missionaries will build meaningful and lasting global networks. "May bridges of cooperation that transcend borders be established and sustained."
   "From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love..." (Ephesians 4:16)
7. Let us pray that actionable and effective mission strategies, applicable in each ministry context, will be developed. "May strategies that turn God’s word into tangible transformation be drawn out."
   "Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says." (James 1:22)
8. Let us pray that the vision of KPM and Kosin will take root deeply, resulting in growth for both the Korean and global church. "May the vision of the community be rooted in each individual."
   "Rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness."(Colossians 2:7)
9. Let us pray for God’s protection and wisdom over all travel, accommodations, and every aspect of the program. "May God’s peace and protection rest upon every journey and all administrative tasks."
   "The Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore." (Psalm 121:8)
10. Let us pray that, after the forum, each participant will return to their mission field with renewed strength and courage to serve the Gospel and the Kingdom of God. "May all participants expect new things from God and serve with vigor."
